About Kathryn
Kathryn was raised in an Illinois farm family of ten children who are now living across the country.
Education was always the focus. Kathryn has been married to Carl Hensley, Associate Professor of
Mathematics at Indian River Community College, for 40 years. Education is still the family focus. Their
three university-educated children all graduated from the St. Lucie County School District. Nathaniel,
Sarah, and Andrew all live in Gainesville. Savannah Kathryn (February 2005), and Violet Sarah
(November 2007) live with Mom and Dad (Nathaniel and Kristin) in Gainesville.
